At breakfast cribbage last Sunday, we were remembering Virginia’s unpredictable choices for her meal. While the rest of us are VERY consistent, you never knew what she was going to choose. Sometimes it was a “made up” BLT ( two strips of bacon, two tomato slices, English muffin). Sometimes when she was “treating” herself she would have a pancake (it was considered treating as she was gluten intolerant). Often, she would ask to split a breakfast with someone else, especially if it was Mexican in origin. whatever the choice, it was most often NOT to be found as is on the menu. And, there was always listening to others order that influenced her choices – she NEVER wanted to go first.
I did a bunch of work for Ginger at her School Rd house over the last 20 years. She was one of my best and favorite clients and we would often have long talks about the meaning of life. Sometimes I would take my dog for a walk at lunch on the wonderful Lopez hill trails nearby. Thanks Ginger and Ann for being so gracious and letting the community use the Dojo and Lopez Hill access.
